Raised in the beautiful Mountain State - West Virginia. First computer was a Commodore 64. I studied Business Information Systems at Shepherd University (then College). First full time IT job as an on the road tech for ComputerLand of Morgantown, where I took care of networks and backups for Long Term Care facilities mostly. Moved onto to working for WVU College of Business Economics handling their computers and network, and backup of course! Lured away to VCU School of Allied Health Professions in Richmond, Va to be the Director of IS for the 2nd largest school at VCU. Went back and worked for a DotCom that ultimately went dot bust. Now working full time for the State of Va as a Storage and Information Protection engineer, and consulting/supporting small business IT needs evenings and weekends and by appointment during the day when needed. It is a good life. Married for almost 26 years now, and four beautiful daughters who are the treasure of my soul. I feel blessed to be able to work every day doing what I love, sharing IT help for those in need - and providing for my family. It is truly a good life that I am very thankful for.
